What should I do here?

I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? New, getting incredibly frustrated

I just started playing this game, Warband specifically with the game of thrones mod. I cant seem to get anywhere. Any time I get an army or more than 500 coins I just get constantly attacked and captured. No matter where I go or what I do. It seems near impossible to get away. If I leave troops behind, they just keep chasing me down. Over and over. I was just captured 4 times in a row without even being able to recruit anyone.

What am I missing here. My army is capped at 55 and there seems no quick way of expanding that any time soon. Quests fail due to this. And everyone seems to hate me because I leave troops behind. How can I end this cycle of torment before I smash something?

Is there any way I can get employed on a farm and just be a farmer instead? My character is not destined for any greatness. I dont want him to spend the rest of his life in various prisons

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
