Getting random shader issue: out of video memory error on a GTX 1070 8GB card lol. Halp?

Um yeah so this error tends to happen only when clicking between menus in a town and seemingly at random. I really don't think I'm actually out of video memory..... Especially on menu screens. I have "load textures on demand" on. Oh and I'm running Floris 2.54
