When's the last time we saw banners in a battle?

Not trying to stir the pot, just genuinely curious. I realized recently we haven't seen banners in battles for a while. They featured heavily at e3 2017 (screenshot) (screenshot), but as far as I can tell the last time we saw them was a year ago at Gamescom 2018, in a much reduced capacity (screenshot) (screenshot). I also noticed they didn't feature at all in multiplayer or siege gameplay. So, what's the deal? Cloth physics eating up too much processor power? To be fair I should also mention that we've seen very few images of big battles in the year since last August.
