How to improve auto resolve outcomes?

I auto-resolve 90% of the fights I get into, what can I do for better results? Should I find 1-2 companions with high tactics skill and keep them in my party? Will that help? Do I have to assign them into any role? There is no slot for tactics role, is it enough if I just keep them in my party? As for sieges, should I keep a companion with high engineering skill and assign him in the engineering slot? I just simply suck at fighting and I am better at overall map-control. submitted by /u/Horcsogg [link] [comments]

Diplomacy mod breaking mercenary function?

Hi,

I'm only 100 hrs into Bannerlord so learning everything on the go. Just figured out how to install mods so that was great. But I only want the Vanilla experience and a few essential fixes so currently I only have 2 mods installed:

Diplomacy

&

True Prisoners

I installed the Diplomacy mod soon after I broke away from Aserai as a Vassal and created my own kingdom, so it's literally a brand new experience for me to run a kingdom. But I really needed to hire mercenaries, so the messenger feature really helped me to track down all the minor clan heads and try and talk them into working for me.

However, I am running into a few bugs(?):

  1. Some clans will not give me an option to hire as mercenary, even if they are not currently hired by anyone else. It's not the "You don't seem trustworthy", it's literally not there.

  2. Some clans that's already hired by me, will literally defect and be hired by another Kingdom later the same day. I don't think this is functioning correctly?

  3. Whenever I talk to a clan to join me as mercenary, it talks about "here are my terms of the contract" or something like that but I don't see anything. And since I've never hired a mercenary before installing Diplomacy mod, I don't know what the "correct" screen should even look like, but I'm sure this ain't right.

What should I do?

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
