What version should I play on? My first play through of banner lord but played 400+ hours on Warband (with mods).

I’ve played about 400 hours of warband and that modding scene was the best experience I’ve had in a game.

Im wondering what version would be the best to get the most out of mods and base game content.

From what I see, I should at least get the diplomacy mod (apparently that works on 1.6.5).
