Just started my Kingdom *HELP tactical nightmare*

(Warband) So I broke off from King Ragnar when i captured Yruma Castle and he didn’t give it to me. I lost it almost immediately but I retained Ismirala Castle, Tehlrog Castle, and Curin Castle all 3 the surrounding castles around Sargoth. I broke off because I realized the Nords where getting to powerful for me to beat him in later game. I also retained Veluca and the villages surrounding it but no castles in old Rhodok territory. I border the Nords to the North, (Uxxhal being the closest nord town), and the Rhodoks to the South at Jelkala, I have 54 RTR, almost 300k denars, 6 vassals, no wife. Currently at peace with everyone and under a 35 day Truce with the Nords. Who should I befriend the Nords or Rhodoks? How? Where should I expand to create more security?
