A save files question

Ok so little info im running it on Windows 7 And when i tried to open a module i havent used in like 2 months I find out that there are no saves games so I went to documents to look and found that my MB saves folder is there but banner page also created another folder outside the MW saves folder a d the game defaults to that while looking for saves any secure way to fix it
