Have you ever gotten to the point where you are one of the major lords and can field a 200+ army on your own but get tured if constant war? We'll i have the strategy for you. It's called "Kill All Captured Lord/Lady". Who needs friends anyways. What do you guys do to counter units? For me if I’m going up against a lot of horse archers I put my infantry in a circle to protect archers then let cavalry deal with them If I’m up against a lot of infantry I go in a shield wall then make my infantry advance then I let my cavalry flank and put my horse archers deal with archers then put them behind infantry to destroy them. And for cavalry I’ll put my infantry in a square and archers behind and then have my cavalry stop the charges from the cavalry and slowly advance with my infantry. Hello, I am starting to smith in Bannerlord but the leveling is slow slow that it's not feasible to do, each piece i craft gets me like 100xp, which means I would probably be smiting for hundreds of in game years before I got it to a high level. Meanwhile I watch a video on YouTube where someone crafts two items and gets a level. What is going on here? Aren't they the same faction/people? I thought the Sea Raiders represented the "true" Nords in-game, but essentially the Viking theme is already taken. This is a first for me, but maybe it's happening to other people. I click play on Steam, it starts to load the launcher, and then it quits. I click the desktop shortcut, it starts to load the launcher, and then it quits. I try to launch through NVIDIA, it starts to load the launcher, and then it quits. I've tried going directly through the executable but it just crashes on load. Can't even get to the point of disabling mods because the launcher won't load, and it was running fine with mods yesterday. Didn't change a single thing. I'm wanting to do a merc playthrough. My idea was that id pick a kingdom to serves that is different from my own background and only use units from my culture. I understand that this game was just abandoned unfinished but I just have to rant about stupid little stuff they could have added. Why as a king can I not give basic orders to other armies or the ai just be a bit more competent. Here we are fighting Aserai, pushed them all the way to sanala and now a 600 person army is taking this castle while a fresh army of 1400 men bobs around doing nothing, the other army is leaving the area, it even says they’re moving to defend but have just sat there, I shouldn’t have to leave halfway through a siege to take care of it while half of my clans do nothing. I'm playing Bannerlord for the first time and after having too much trouble starting my own kingdom in Vlandia I decided I'd just go the easier path and become a vassal and either get elected when Derthert bites it or rebel when I have some fiefs. So I find Derthert and swear allegiance only for him to die of old age the very next day and somehow I've been elected the next king. I was in a war against the Aserai and me and my kingdom conquered deep into their territory, taking 4 castles (including one that was originally ours before the war but we took it back) and 3 cities. While in the middle of sieging another castle, I get a notice that the Aserai are requesting peace. I decided to finish my siege before I responded and when I finally finished I noticed that everything we took went back to them. I really enjoy commanding my troops when I’m solo in a party and it’s just me and my men. However during the larger battles it seems like the same strategies don’t work, with reinforcements spawning in front and behind and all over the place. So I was playing and a have a town I took it when I left one of the kingdom and made give so money to have peace and after a while I noticed a town that had a rebellion so I took it over and then I ravaged the town so it would rebel again so I could take it over again and get more renown. Hi 👋 I’m playing mount and blade war and on Mac. Battles are capped at maximum 150 units. It’s really fun but it kind of sucks that I can’t have massive battles - reinforcements kind of ruin that massive battle feeling. I played Prophecy of Pendor and you can have I think 500 or more. Unfortunately Prophecy of Pendor is pretty hard and I suck at it. Anyway for me to have massive battles in Vanilla like in Pendor ? My game keeps crashing occasionally when I enter towns. I have GTX 4060 with Updated drivers, 200 GB of free space lef ton my 1TB hard drive, 16 Gb ram, and the setting on game are on freaking medium only, why does this keep happening? Looking at the heavy sturgian, heavy vlandian, and noble khuzait lances, it seems that the lengths top put around 200, which seems really short to me. I can use crafted lances with length 235+ pretty easily and I’ve had companions do really well with them too. These mods play around with the social elements of the game I get a notification that Dramalord detects the other two and that it disables marriage or pregnancy. Ideally I don’t want those functions to be disabled on Dramalord. The notification still comes up after I disable any bannertrainer setting.
