I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. Looking at the heavy sturgian, heavy vlandian, and noble khuzait lances, it seems that the lengths top put around 200, which seems really short to me. I can use crafted lances with length 235+ pretty easily and I’ve had companions do really well with them too. It just seems odd to me, and I think it’s one of the reasons that shock cav is relatively underpowered in this game compared to other troops types
