How to improve auto resolve outcomes?

I auto-resolve 90% of the fights I get into, what can I do for better results? Should I find 1-2 companions with high tactics skill and keep them in my party? Will that help? Do I have to assign them into any role? There is no slot for tactics role, is it enough if I just keep them in my party? As for sieges, should I keep a companion with high engineering skill and assign him in the engineering slot? Should i create parties?

Hello! Im a vlandian vassel and have 9 M 14 fiefs. +15 k a day passive income. We own half the map. Is it worth creating parties or is it just an expense? I have 2 companions that would fit as leaders.

I plan on becoming king of vlandia later 🤪
