One hour in, maximum rage.

I looked for a Summer Sale megathread, but there's no official sequestration for us completely unskilled new players.

I slowly went through the tutorial and learned the basics of the controls...except for what conditions you have to fill to get off the horse. How do I reliably get off a horse?

Then I started the campaign. You start off in a dead end alley armed with a crossbow and a shield but no weapon. It took five tries to punch this motherfucker to death.

I get him, but he smashes my shield. I try to pick up his weapon, and my guy puts his crossbow on the ground, then his bolts, then picks up the shield and puts down the mace I just tried to pick up. Before I can figure out how to loot, the fucking merchant shows up and makes me leave everything on the ground. How do you pick up items without dropping your equipment?

This is supposed to be an awesome game, but it is all frustration and design choices I cannot fathom so far and I'm not two minutes into actual gameplay! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!
