Is there an update / alternative to Diplomacy 4.3 for a Native+ experience?

I've seen various conversion mods over the years fix the bugs in Diplomacy, or expand on some of its features, but these have never been added to the core mod (to my knowledge). As someone who prefers Native, is there anything better by now?
