Warwolf: Deciphered! (Version 0.0.1)

Warwolf: Deciphered! *Now 50% more coherent!*

Warwolf: Deciphered is a submod pet project of mine to expand upon the dialogue found within the mod Warwolf, and make the mod more accessible. I plan to correct as much of the text within the mod as possible to make the mod more easily understood by native English speakers, while giving the story a more alive, genuine feel to it. The mod originally created by Feodorgera is incredibly ambitious, though some people find it too difficult to get introduced to due to the broken English found in the base mod.

TL;DR: I'm fixing the grammar and spelling, while adding a few tips so that people know what they're doing.

BACK UP YOUR WARWOLF'S MODULE'S FILES BEFORE REPLACING ANYTHING. THERE ARE SOME MINOR BUGS THAT WILL BE LISTED BELOW.

Features:

  • An overhauled main story quest, grammatically corrected and expanded upon. (60% complete, will be finished for version 0.0.2)
  • Additional tips to assist the player as the main quest unfolds.
  • Reworked dialogue options and responses when conversing with lords and tavern keepers.
  • Probably bugs. Save often.

Installation:

  1. Download Warwolf through Steam or through Feodorgera's website.
  2. Download Warwolf: Deciphered here.
  3. Replace the contents of the Warwolf module's folder (found either at steamapps\workshop\content\48700\459319048, or steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules\Warwolf depending on your choice of download) with Warwolf: Deciphered's files.
  4. Enjoy!

THIS IS NOT COMPLETE. I WILL MAKE AN UPDATE POST WHEN FURTHER SUBSTANTIAL PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE.

Known Bugs:

  • Some main menu text is replaced with str mod name card.
  • The earliest start date (Wolf and Lion) may show a blank overworld once you leave the tutorial battle when playing as France or England. [This might be a bug from the base mod, but better safe than sorry.]

Disclaimer:

Warwolf and its code belongs to Feodor Gerasimov, and is only a replacement for some of the dialogue. This is not a redistribution of Warwolf. I do not claim to own any of Warwolf's content. This is simply made for fun and for the benefit of people who wish to enjoy the mod, but cannot understand the broken English. I will most likely not be correcting the adult content found within the mod at this stage. If I do decide to, it will be done last.
