Having recently reclaimed Almerra Castle, the Rhodoks are struggling to feed the villagers and the garrison, as most of the surrounding lands have been devastated by the war. This dire need for food has put a strain on the entire kingdom, and the risk of famine is becoming frighteningly real.
/u/Lord_Kastor , ruler of the Rhodoks, sees a solution in the nearby Vaegir city of Dhirim.
Following a luxurious period of peace, Dhirim’s stores are bountiful, with enough food to supply Almerra and all of Rhodokia until next harvest.
If /u/Lord_Kastor is able to take Dhirim, a famine will be prevented, and a crisis averted. Failing to take the city will be fatal, however, as the Vaegirs will seize the momentum of a successful defence and take Almerra and (the sacred) Grunwalder Castle.
And so the Vaegirs march from Dhirim, to confront the Rhodok force at the border.
Spears are sharpened and whet stones spin, for the Rhodoks are going to war again.

In Meta Terms
Welcome to the 19th Calradic Campaign! This event will see the invading Rhodoks attempt to crush the Vaegirs in the field. Should the Rhodoks prevail, they will attack the Vaegir City of Dhirim. Should the Vaegirs win the field, they will push onto the Rhodok Grunwalder Castle and besiege it. If the Vaegirs are victorious at Grunwalder, they will also seize Almerra Castle.
/u/Lord_Kastor will be leading the Rhodoks and /u/Saultnami [+23] will be leading the Vaegirs. If one of them cannot attend, a marshal will be appointed.
To join the event, just join the server! There are no sign-ups required, and while it is recommended to join the Discord voice chat for tactics and tictacs, it isn't required.
