Where to begin... So the Battanians get into their fateful war with Vlaandians, but the western empire declared war upon their new Vlaandian neighbors. The western empire and the battanians pushed back the Vlaandians, but then the Aserai attacked the Western Empire. The Vlaandians made peace with the Battanians to focus their efforts on the western empire, and though the Battanians were doing well on their own, the Sturgians declared war on them. Battanians lose Flintolg castle but gain the Kranirog and Mazhadan castles, and then they claim Sturgia-owned Epicrotea during the Sturgian's battle against the Western Empire. The Khuzait declare war on the Sturgians and claim Tyal from them, so the Sturgians make peace with the Battanians to focus on the Khuzait. The western empire loses ground to both the Aserai and the Vlaandians, so they are forced to make peace with the Vlaandians. Would be interesting to have more different types of holdings the player can gain. For example in CK2 there are castles, towns and churches that the player can control. What if in Bannerlord the player could be a bishop of a Church or a Major of a town, each one encompassing unique events/tech trees/bonuses/gameplay etc. This would give opportunities to create more depth beyond basic revenue and troop garrisons. A few mods have attempted to flesh out this ideas (Manor system in Anno Domini 1257) but I'm thinking of a much more unique and expanded experience for Bannerlord.
Thoughts on how you would like this explored in bannerlord?
