What should I do here?

I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? They keep coming with 1100 troop armies and I keep destroying them, shouldn’t the...

PoP Custom Knighthood Order Advice

I need some help coming up with a useful CKHO. I’m thinking of a way to set up my Knights and sergeants that provides value the established knighthood orders don’t already provide.

What combination of units will best compliment each other? For example, Silver mist rangers and halberdiers already compliment each other fairly well. The rangers destroy most enemies while the halberdiers protect them from direct heavy cavalry charges (probably the rangers’ biggest weakness).

Also, what AI will the custom units use? If I train them with high horse archery skill and high archery proficiency, will they act as horse archers? If I give them only bows and 3 quivers, will they do a better job of skirmishing and avoiding close combat when I give them the charge command, or will they start punching? I was thinking about training the knights to be dedicated horse archers with very tough mounts so they won’t get unhorsed, while training the sergeants to be fast lancers so they can intercept opposing cavalry. Has anyone tried this setup?

I have been using a lot of clarion call troops and always find myself wishing the sergeants were lancers so they could charge in while I maneuvered the rangers into a flanking position.

Edit: Alternatively, I could give the knights bows, 2 quivers, and a two handed pole arm that can’t be used on horseback. That would also force them to properly act as horse archers while mounted, hopefully.

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
