Everybody manages to "win" the game

I mean I play it mainly as Role play, so winning it is not my goal, but I definitely want to be successful. Usually, getting first city is pretty hard, because having less than 200 troops, building siege camp, fending off enemy lords roaming around my siege camp requires big heap of luck. Then expanding the kingdom without clans is hard, even with two or three it gets hard against fully established kingdoms. However, weekly I see many posts about finished game, great strategic win, destroying whole kingdoms singlehandedly.... I am by no means beginner, having 2K+ hours in Warband (partially napoleonic wars as regiment member, but still many hours in Floris, Pendor and so on), 700+ hours in Bannerlord. I use Diplomacy, RBM so it is harder, but still... submitted by /u/Top_Leopard_9528 [link] [comments]

Strategic advice on current TLD situation

So I'm in a bit of a tough spot in TLD playing as Lothlorien elves. Gondor has become quite weak and lost both East and West Osgiliath, Cair Andros and the two towns south of Minas Tirith. In the North the fighting is fairly even. My faction's strenth is considered unmatched, however they're sitting on their arses and instead of sallying forth and destroying Dol Gurdur(which would be easy given the current strength) they refuse to move out for some fucked up reason. Pretty much elves being pacified by their own stupidity when they could probably deathball through the entire North and make it so that three-four factions reinforce Gondor and Rohan.

I have a 80 man strong army and can rip through most of what the enemy can throw at me. Dol Guldur is walking around with three stacks making life a bit difficult for me to just cut them down so that Dol Guldur is ripe for the taking(not that I think that it would get Celebor to get off his fucking arse anyway. I have 43K Lothlorien resources so building up an army and siege small camps on my own is a long way away*

So as far as I see it I have two options. I can either move down south and reinforce Gondor and hopefully push Mordor back far enough so Gondor can regain some strength and maybe go on the offensive again. Or I could try to build up enough resources to pay that 100k prize and start fucking smaller camps over on my own. Any suggestions?

*Quick side question: Can single handedly take out the orcs holding Cairn Andros? And if I do, who gets the garrison?

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
