And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
So, I'm really getting into The Last Days once again and now I'm going for a Mordor run, but I'd rather try and optimize my troop composition instead of relying on the blobber faction that is nothing but Orcs. I've seen the Khand Pitfighters in action and they seem to resemble the Nords in the native campaign (namely in how they slaughtered my Orcs like the Huscurls would slaughter de-horsed Khergits), I want to make sure that when I'm promoting a troop towards a heavy cavalry role, that they function more like a Swadian Knight and not sporting a weak, unarmored horse. Which faction troops would I go for to get the most out of their intended role for Light Infantry (shock troopers with two-handed melee), Cavalry, Cavalry Archers, Archers, Heavy Melee (Nord Huscurls), and some Jack-of-all-Trades as back-up? I can't seem to find a reliable wiki with information on the module anywhere.
