Everybody manages to "win" the game

I mean I play it mainly as Role play, so winning it is not my goal, but I definitely want to be successful. Usually, getting first city is pretty hard, because having less than 200 troops, building siege camp, fending off enemy lords roaming around my siege camp requires big heap of luck. Then expanding the kingdom without clans is hard, even with two or three it gets hard against fully established kingdoms. However, weekly I see many posts about finished game, great strategic win, destroying whole kingdoms singlehandedly.... I am by no means beginner, having 2K+ hours in Warband (partially napoleonic wars as regiment member, but still many hours in Floris, Pendor and so on), 700+ hours in Bannerlord. I use Diplomacy, RBM so it is harder, but still... submitted by /u/Top_Leopard_9528 [link] [comments]

Where can I see what NPCs have told me?!

I've asked various questions through my first 10 hours. Things such as:

  • Where is my companion?

  • Where are the tournaments taking place?

  • What town can I sell these goods in to make a profit?

  • I have been invited to a feast!

However, being completely new to the game, the names of these people and places run together and slip my memory very quickly. How in the world can I see what was told to me? I go into the "Notes" section and click through the logs - nothing. It only gives me information on people I don't know being defeated or victorious in a place I don't know. I honestly don't understand the point of the Notes section if it isn't going to log everything I'm told. I had to travel back to a town to pay some traveler 3 different times to tell me where my one companion was. I had to resort to taking a picture on my phone just in case I forgot again. I've missed out on feasts and profits because of this. How do you guys remember everything you're told?

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
