Companion cavalry party - Where do they get the horses from

I would like to make a companion lead a clan party with all horse archers. However, I'm not sure how they would upgrade the infantry to cavalry, or the cavalry to heavy cavalry. Do they need horses to upgrade troops, or do they 'cheat' and upgrade them without horses? Do they buy horses in towns, and if yes, which (since prices for especially war mounts can vary greatly)? Thanks in advance! Why do people forget about tournaments, when they need money?

Like, a lot of people ask how to feed and pay troops in times of peace, even if you have no fiefs, you could ALWAYS hunt for tournaments and bet 100 dinars on yourself each time, you will end up with 3500:4000 dinars after a single tournament.

If you are struggling with money, always remember that at least 1 town is having a tournaments, that you could farm 3500:4000 dinars from.

Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features.
