Mouse cursor is not a spear!

I have been playing warband on my macbook all the time and I never had the spear as my mouse cursor icon. I have started watching videos about mount and blade and I just realized that mine was broken because I always had the standart mac mouse cursor. How do I get the spear cursor because its bugging me a lot. Thanks.
