Calradian Army Knife Trophy (Vanilla Warband)

So the description of this trophy is "Kill 10 enemies with a throwing weapon's secondary function". Not only did I not have any throwing weapons equipped, I don't think I've ever had them equipped. When I got the trophy I was just cutting dudes down with a bastard sword on horseback... what gives?
