Recently the Chinese moderators running the East Asia server has been banning players left and right with CCP censorship.
Several Taiwanese players had reported that they are banned from multiplayer for having username related to Xi Jinping or coronavirus :https://forum.gamer.com.tw/C.php?bsn=16393&snA=3344&tnum=2
The Chinese moderators stated their policies here: https://bbs.mountblade.com.cn/thread-2062564-1-1.html
It would have been fair if they ban all political content, but according to another reddit thread, they had only ban things that are offensive to CCP. Insults against anyone other than CCP will not lead to ban: https://www.reddit.com/r/mountandblade/comments/gbfwgf/is_taleworlds_preparing_to_establish_other_east/fp659tq?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x
Also, they are not just banned from the East Asia server, they cannot even log into multiplayer game. The East Asia server moderators can effectively ban players from even playing in North America and Europe servers as well. Watch yourself if you are playing on the East Asia server because if you have a username that Chinese moderators deem sensitive (anything related to winnie the pooh, for example), you can be ban from all servers.
I understand that some rules from CCP must be abide if you want to sell a game in China, but they are imposing CCP censorship on an international server to players from other countries. I believe this is not TaleWorld's intention so I want to rise attention here in hopes that they will notice this.
