Hey folks! Question about War Sails.

I’m still a new player at Mount & Blade. My friend has the PS+ catalogue so I gave Warband a shot and liked it, I’ll be sure to play it on PC! I’m interested in buying War Sails. Can’t play

So I am not a computer expert but I recently got a new PC built by my cousin. For some reason every time I try and launch banner lord by pressing play. Nothing happens and when I try and force close the game continuously runs. I can play warband so I have no idea what to do?
