Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. When do mercenary clans change into normal clans?

In my current late game play lake rats are a normal clan, not mercenaries anymore as i recruited them in my kingdom. I think that It Is the same with other mercenary clans as well, just with other factions. When does this happen?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
