Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Early king

I was smithing and I had started the play through like 2 days prior and it was my first time and all of a sudden the king steps down and they nominate me as king. Why could that be. Was it cuz I had like 1.2m gold ?
