WHY ISN'T THERE A MESSENGER/COURIER SYSTEM?!

Genuinely. I want to find this guy, I have to trek across the entire goddamn map to find him because he seems to know how to teleport. If anyone from the devs are reading this, here's my suggestions: When a courier comes to you, add an extra promt asking us if wed like to hire the courier. In taverns, add a courier that we can hire for a sum. Or, use other nobles or people. So, here's what I mean by that last point. When you want to recruit a clan and make if a vassal, you must ask the clan leader to join you. If you try to ask anyone else in tje clan, they defer you to the leader. Well, what if when we do that, we could tell the person to deliver a message to the leader next they see them. Also, this could make declaring war more immersive and thrilling. Because now they could make it so you need to hire a courier to declare war on someone. So, if it takes several days to send the message, you could send the cour...

Getting started quickly

After many half finished campaigns, I’ve finally got a solid way build wealth and renown really quickly to fast forward your kingdom for new players:

  1. Have about 3-4 points in trade.

  2. Keep no more than 25 mid tier troops. It know it’s tempting to have more but it’s a waste of money. 25 is a good balance of carry capacity and killing occasional bandits.

  3. This is probably the most helpful part of the post ->

Buy raw silk from Amprela in the Northern empire on khuzati boarder. Under 10 is a good deal, sell across aserai for 18-30.

Buy pottery for under 100 and jewelry for under 200 from the aserai and bring it up toward Battania. Sell if you find good prices above that.

Buy flax and clay for 10 or less, and tools for 50-60 in Battania. Head back toward Amprela, load up on a shit load of silk, then repeat.

Eventually you can start mixing in other goods when you get a feel for the pricing but from what I’ve seen, silk from Amprela goes really far in Aserai territory, and tools can easily sell for 2-3 times the original cost if you buy for 50-60. I don’t even really bother with sturgia, valandria, khuzati, or central empire this early because selling the silk to the aserai and tools along the way is the best trade run I’ve seen.

  1. While doing this, join every tournament you possibly can for gear and renown. Sell any horses you win (you can always win them again)

  2. Once trade is high enough, i take the perk that let’s me earn renown from caravans and start running those while I run my own trade. Eventually you become the tournament champion and earn daily renown from that as well.

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
