Why is the fief system like this

Seriously you need a fucking physics degree to understand this.
10k different modifiers, loyalty is constantly sliding to 50, buffs get random debuffs, money is taken from you daily, and it seems construction is just random rng garbage
Oh, and Governor culture. Nearly forgot that bullshit
What were they thinking???? Nobody plays mount and blade to be a beauracrat. This whole system is just overwhelmingly stupid
