I made an Economic World Ledger mod. Here's the Initial kingdom economy state compared to one deep into a Vlandian Campaign.

Early game equipment

This might be a little unfair because I'm playing Warsails, and the tutorial gives a shit ton of rewards if you know how to, but yeah this is how early game arms and armor actually looks like, has anyone else had this same experience? submitted by /u/Equal-Ear-5504 [link] [comments]

Encountered an Annoyance

Playing vanilla+ (a few lore friendly and QoL mods) and finally started my own kingdom. Currently have one town and just lost two castles. The town is a Player Settlement on the same island as Hvalvik. Both castles were in Sturgian territory that were taken over by the Nords and Battanians. Sturgians only have Omor left. After losing both castles and recognizing the difficulty in holding fiefs on the mainland, I decided to convince a decent number of vassals to defect to my kingdom, all of which had zero fiefs to begin with. Now I’m up to about 8 or 9 clans in my kingdom, all of whom have a considerable number of family members. Now I want to declare war on the Nords again to take Hvalvik and set the foundation for future campaigns on the mainland. Here’s the annoying bit: my relation with the Nordic King (not Halthdar, he recently passed) is too high, so I can’t even call the war to a vote! However, it seems that doesn’t stop the AI from declaring war on me whenever they’d like. Onl...

Favourite Ship? (& Favourite Crew To Work Said Ships)

I personally love the dromosticans and lyburnias, solely for practical reasons and aesthetic reasons as well. Currently doing a rp campaign where I'm an imperial fleet commander and learnt to love the Imperial Naute, being the majority of my crew with maybe some archers. Something satisfying about ramming a ship and then pulling alongside it watching like 50+ men unload 200+ javelins. The Imperial Naute I also found is great for my other ships as I give my ships delegate command at the start, and the Naute tend to have great survivability and combat skills so I don't usually have to worry about reinforcing a failing boarding defence/assualt. submitted by /u/Dry_Regular9910 [link] [comments]

Looking for 1.4.8 for RoT warsails, can’t find it on steam.

I think perhaps I’m missing something obvious. I want to install the newer warsails version of RoT, which requires 1.4.8, but when I go into the betas section on steam, I can only choose 1.4.7, and the next one is beta 1.5.3. Could someone please tell me where I’m going wrong? Is 1.4.8 not available from steam? Any help is much appreciated. submitted by /u/StonLenslow [link] [comments]

ASSASSINATION UPDATE: Empress Ira in Critical Condition, Phadon Attempts Coup

While the imperial surgeons in Lycaron labor in total silence to pull Empress Ira back from the brink of death after the assassination attempt , the Senate moves to seize her crown. Archon Phadon, long the Empress's most venomous political rival in the capital, believed the throne was ripe for the taking. As the grandson of Emperor Neretzes, he viewed the imperial seat as his birthright, desperate to erase the humiliating disaster at the Battle of Pendraic that had stripped House Neretzes of the crown. He moved into the grand hall with purse-strings open, attempting to buy the palatine guards on the spot. Phadon assumed there was no one left to stop him. Ira's husband, Emperor Jon, and their son and heir, Prince Arenicos, are both trapped fighting a brutal proxy war in the frozen North, their fates completely unknown. He failed to account for Princess Rhamira, Ira’s daughter. Standing third in line to the throne, Princess Rhamira had been dismissed by the patricians as ...
