I just came back to the game after a year hiatus, and I'm thrilled they finally actually added mechanics rather than just doing endless bug and balance patches that somehow break every mod with every patch. I discovered the sneaking tutorial, and then found out that basically every stealth kill or every other stealth kill gives a level of roguery. (5 focus points) now I'm wondering what's the point of alleys anymore. They were never particularly good, but at least there was an argument to be made that they increased roguery. But now that I can just go farm hideout stealth missions, earn way more money, keep my companions in my party, and not gain crime in the process, I'm wondering what purpose alleys serve anymore? (Alley income should be ×10 imo) submitted by /u/forfor [link] [comments]
Sorry if there's an obvious answer to this question, but I can't find a way to increase the battle size past 150 in the Silverstag mod.
From what I've been able to google, I need to change "battle_size" in rgl_log.txt to a higher number. When changing it from "1.000000" to "3.000000" (or any other number) it has no effect in game, and when I re-open rgl_log.txt it shows "battle_size" as being set back to the default value. I'm guessing that it has something to do with the fact that Silverstag uses Warband Script Enhancer, but I don't know enough about WSE or modding in general to figure out how to fix it.
Is it possible? Do you have any suggestions?
