Monchug was feeling generous today.

I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. [PoP] How useful is the Trade skill?

I'm not sure how it all works but what I see when I mouse over items and what I get for them are completely different. People recommend leveling trade up but it never seemed to pay off enough opposed to just doing the arena.
