Does anyone ever use mercenary troops?

They seem extraordinarily expensive to recruit (compared to normal faction soldiers) and they don't seem to even be as good as most faction soldiers. The infantry line in particular is weak as shit. Next Sale?

So I just recently found out about M&B and really wanted to buy Warband but money is tight right now... I was hoping for a sale soon so I can finally buy the game(or the bundle DLC)but it appears that there has been already a sale a few weeks back on 3/15, so it's probably going to be a while til the next sale. So the question is...When do you think the next sale will come? Soon? Not Soon? Should I just buy the vanilla warband game without the DLC for 20 dollars?

Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features. How do I get into the major leagues?

How do I get out of being classified as a minor faction? I’m constantly at war, usually fighting two wars at once with my immediate neighbors, and I’m starting to suspect it’s because the game still considers me a minor faction. I’m nearly clan rank 6, with three vassals and basically a good chunk of the Sturgian lands, plus Epicoratoa, and now I’m starting to push into Battanian lands, so I have no idea how I’m still “minor”.
