I know there is (was?) a mod there you could have like a personal guard of 10 units in every battle. But is there any working mod out there that fix so you can have that, but also decide on your own what units shall be in it? So, I aided Arwa the Pearled One and retook the Sarranid Sultanate (which was pretty easy because at that point in my game it only really consisted of like, two castles and a city), and now I'm trying to get Arwa to marry me, but she refuses because Sultan Hakim has somehow become her vassel. I looked it up and it seems mechanically, a claimant won't marry you if a lord in the kingdom has higher renown. I can bridge the renown gap, but he sitting at around 500 ahead of me, so it might take a while.
My questions are:
-How and why did the defeated king become a vassal?
-Is this normal or a bug?
-Do I have some means in Floris to de-vassalize or just outright murder him?
-If he were to abandon the kingdom for say the Vaigers, would he effectively function as a normal lord?
-Can a personal relationship of 100 overcome the renown requirement?
-Does she secretly love him or is she only rejecting me out of an obligation to her kingdom?
He's locked in my dungeon right now, apparently just the most eligible fucker alive. The Swandians are gone, meaning Lady Isolla of Suno vanished, and all the other women in my game look like a mix between treefrogs and drywall, so I'm pretty dead set on marrying Arwa. Help.
