im in 2 front war, all my vassals are captured, i have one castle left after vlandia cane with the 2000 men army and took my city , and i cant make peace even i i want to pay tribute. Why the fuck are castles denfended by 60 rhodok sergeants and 70 sharpshooters in my game. I am at war with those wretches and I cannot take a single castle from them. I am at day 430 and my only fief is Weyyah castle with 400 troops. 150 of those are veteran footmen which get one shotted with sharpshooters. I also have 30 Swadian Knighte and 7 Mamlukes but those are too good to risk in sieges. What would you do to get out of this stalemate. Is it normal that the enemy castles have these kinds of units in the garrison ?
