What the title says. I know the companion number is limited by how many companions your clan can have. But lets say that I play in campaign mode, and both my brothers and I marry. Lets say we each on average have 7 kids (not unreasonable in my experience). Me, my siblings, and our spouses will number 7 (assuming sister goes unmarried), +21 kids when they are grown up, + lets say 5 companions. Once your kids marry, this grows even further. Can you essentially breed your own private army that you can kit out with skills and gear as you please? submitted by /u/MoronTheViking [link] [comments]
Just occurred to me looking another person's post, of their army set up all organized, and it made me think about what I feel is (one of) the biggest detractors of any semblance of order on the battlefield. That is how reinforcements work in Warband.
My major issue with it is the hodgepodge deployment, and the lack of control for the player to handle the reinforcement of his troops, as well as what units are deployed (I know it goes top to bottom, but it's too big of pain to set up if your army's comp is varied). I'm sure they've made army organization a lot more manageable on the latter, but I don't know if they've done anything for the former.
What are ya's theories, or even have they already addressed this?
