Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Does anyone else hate the mechanic were the larger your army grow, the Kings armies grow even larger?

My army was 120 people strong and I had to fight the sultan who had 750 people. This is ridiculous.

Is there any way around this?
