Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]

sieges

Ive played the game for some time but this is the first time on the hardest difficulty. I thought I read where the castle defenders would not foray out unless they have a 3-1 advantage but during this play through ive had 4 of the 6 fortresses come out. The last one was against Rivacheg where I had 155 vs 370. the first assault was an attempt to get rid of some archers.. it went well except I lost 85 to their 70. I reloaded troops and came back with 155 vs 300. I had 20 sergeants/8 companions and the rest archers. As soon as I began the siege the entire garrison attacks! I was able to kill 200+ but lost 124 and by some miracle the AI let me retreat. My question: does the difficulty level change this formula? thank you

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
