I am so fed up with this late game bullshit.

Not the first post on this topic, but I have over 40 vlandian lords in my dungeons, and my vassals undoubtedly have plently too. I just destroyed four 1000 doomstacks in a row, but oops! looks like fifty familys are sending out their daughters with no combat experience at all to siege a castle with highly trained troops that materialized out of thin air. yes, i know about beheading, but I am playing the good guy this time, so i have level two honor, generosity, and level one of every other positive trait. So what the actual fuck am I supposed to do about this? Win battle after battle till my dungeons are completely full, until fifteen clans suddenly have fourty long lost cousin's grandma's dog's caretakers that have the ability to summon troops from the dead? I am begging you taleworlds, please for the fucking love of god make it so you can be the good guy and also still retain your sanity. submitted by /u/Unlucky-Bus-3024 [link] [comments]

One thing that Bannerlord offers I've been anxious for...

The ability to kill the fucking lords!

I cannot be the only one, when I have fought the same lord, over, and over just for him to come back with another army?

This smug bastard all, "Ha! You defeated me once, but not this time!" Only for me to charge like a mad man and in one single swoop kill him before his army could even get in position.

But "Nay!" says the game, he was only knocked unconscious when your blade slashed across his throat while going 30 mph on horseback. "He has escaped your grasp in the heat of battle!" the game says, as I finish obliterating his armies.

Bannerlord is giving me the opportunity to deal with these pesky Lords, and strike a blow that actually feels permanent, and satisfying! I only hope the game handles the Death of characters in a suitable manner, where killing a lord can either net serious renown, or pins a target on your back.

I've been wanting consequences from battle, be it on my end or the enemies. So that defeat/death truly carries some weight.

Anyone else?

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
