Hi, ı am trying to understand dds files and models. But that thing is turning into Gandalf for no reason. I make a model and tried it, it works perfect with other dds but when ı put my own dds file it is GANDALF. I tried to dxdt1, dxt3,5,7 etc. I tried just rgb or rgbe, rgbs whatever. I tried using another programs to cretae a dds file but. I played with shaders and metarial flags on open brf. Nothing is working ı am trying to talk with ai about 10+ hour but none of them found a solution. Yes, I am a console peasant.
The level of indictment in the mid-late game ruins the entire M&B console experience, imo. It's an issue in every playthrough, no exceptions.
I remember my very first playthrough - with the Nords – we fought, feasted and became bros. Turya, Haeda, Olaf, Harald, Gearth, Turegor, Logarson – some of the finest bearded blokes I've ever broken bread (and skulls) with.
Fast forward 500ish days, and the playthrough became tainted by the constant indictments. The faction was unrecognizable from the initial glory days, vassals came and went like it was nothing. All my boys had switched allegiances, and I was surrounded by comrades whose days as a Nord were numbered – I've even seen Vassals join and leave the very same day. You wake up one day and suddenly Tihr is a Sarranid town. It's just…meh.
I understand this may be an oversight by the devs, and that late-game quality of life may not have been a priority, but it saddens me that the relationships and stories that enrich the early game so much, are completely lost once everyone starts to hate each other.
