And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
Tribe of Osraige is still alive. Northymbria got steamrolled by Gwynedd and Alt Clut after they took Alban (their king even joined Gwynedd after the kingdom was eliminated). The Danes have Dunwic (taken from West Seaxe after the fall of East Engle). Alt Clut took out the orange Goidels (forgot the name) and are advancing into Ireland.
From all I have heard, these kingdoms that are now DOMINATING are supposed to be the first to fall to the invading powers. And this was ALL without any player interference. I have solely been trading, setting up farmsteads and building renown and right to rule. I haven't even been a mercenary yet.
The Britons now worship RNGesus for saving them.
