In Warband you would allocate troops to formations on your party screen. You could put individual troops in formation 1,2, 3 etc. In bannerlord it feels cumbersome having to do it in the battle deployment screen using the sliders. Basically my first "real" playthrough and I'm trying to create my own kingdom for the first time, so I need 900 renown. Currently sitting at 405.
Right now I've just been killing any bandits and running around declaring on the minor factions (Hidden hand, Ghilman, Wolfskins etc.) who are independent to get some bigger battles, but it'd still take forever doing this.
Should I become a mercenary? Or temporarily swear fealty to a kingdom? Maybe declare on a major faction and snipe their armies that're around <100 in strength? Though not sure that's a very good idea since that'd make a major faction immediately hate me when I eventually create a kingdom.
I'd rather not farm tourney's since I've already done probably ~30 and it's very boring at this point. I'll do them every now and then, but not grind them.
