Rogue, the stealthy (note so much) grind.

Has anyone figured out how to level Rogue quicker?

I have held off distributing points or learning all but the most basic skills. Trading in prisoners gets a tinny bit. It takes three trips of 73 prisoners at Rogue 80+ to get a point. Adding bandits to my army does squat, not one point. Caravans don't seem to do anything. What am I missing here?
