And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
So back in the warband days I remember crossbows were a great low investment ranged option for characters that didnt want to heavily invest points into ranged. It was great as I could have my melee focused or commander build and still have a decent ranged option when going into sieges and whatnot.
With the skill system it seems like if I were to invest points into crossbow I might as well put them into bow or throwing for a more effective option to get the best bang for the buck. Is there any practical reason that I should be trying to use crossbows over bows?
