I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. There used to be some roman numerals in the party screen to change formation for every troop type and companions. But it's gone now and my archer companion is stuck in the infantry line. I can make them captains i know, but one can only have so many archer formations.
