Companion cavalry party - Where do they get the horses from

I would like to make a companion lead a clan party with all horse archers. However, I'm not sure how they would upgrade the infantry to cavalry, or the cavalry to heavy cavalry. Do they need horses to upgrade troops, or do they 'cheat' and upgrade them without horses? Do they buy horses in towns, and if yes, which (since prices for especially war mounts can vary greatly)? Thanks in advance! If I marry an old widowed hag, will her children become my heirs?

So I've been trying to marry Ira, Rhagaea's daughter, but she will only try to set me up with a 41 year old widow who has 3 children. One is 22, one is 18, and the other is 3. Since I can marry her for free, will I be able to play as one of her children when my character doesnt recover from a javelin to the face one day, or do I have to marry a young lady and get an heir the old fashioned way?

Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features.
