I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? I broke away from Battania right as they were crushing the Sturgians in a war. They made peace, but left Sturgia with 3 towns, 3 castles, and 9 loyal clans including Ragavand's.
I have managed to defeat Sturgia 100% completely and totally. I took all of their towns, swayed all of their noble families except Ragavand, and defeated all of their mercenaries (which is all of the mercenaries, 8 clans of them).
I swayed the last two loyal clans after taking the last settlement, so only Ragavand's remains. I have also captured or killed every enemy lord. All of the mercenaries are in my dungeons, as is all of Ragavand's clan except his daughter Valla who died in battle. I literally made a spreadsheet and checked it against the nobles in the encyclopedia, and they are all accounted for.
They have 0 soldiers left, 0 settlements left, 0 clans left except for the ruler clan, and 0 heroes who can field new armies, and yet they still won't disband. Do they just... never disband? Because they're still demanding tribute to end the war, and that has 0% support. Am I stuck at war forever? Would executing Ragavand end the faction when it tries and fails to elect a new ruler?
