I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. This week I got the game and started learning a lot on the go. I’ve played a bit of the campaign but I saw videos about the realm of thrones mod and wanted to try it it ASAP. When I started playing the mod I found that I actually missed serving a lord so I installed serve as a soldier and starting fighting in Tully’s army. The Riverlands for some reason are at constant war with the Lannisters but I’m all for it. Also became a Tully bannerman and Edmund granted me a castle which I instantly lost to Tywin sieging it with 700 men. Although I still have a lot to learn such as how I manage my own castle I’ve never had so much fun in a game as in this one. Just wanted to share my experience and looking for any tips to get better.
