How to improve auto resolve outcomes?

I auto-resolve 90% of the fights I get into, what can I do for better results? Should I find 1-2 companions with high tactics skill and keep them in my party? Will that help? Do I have to assign them into any role? There is no slot for tactics role, is it enough if I just keep them in my party? As for sieges, should I keep a companion with high engineering skill and assign him in the engineering slot? Bannerlord stutters when wanting to fast forward game speed on steam deck any fix?

Has anyone encountered this issue and managed how to fix it? When I am docked it stutters alot when fast forwarding but when on normal speed no? Wtf is this ??? The game runs great but that kills the whole experience not being able to fast forward
