Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]

My first day playing + my first underdog fight.

So like, there is a city revolting (against the red people) in the south area of the map and I decided to have a bit of Tom foolery. So I set out with all 93 of my men and kill a hundred stack next to a mountain, minimal losses. Then kill a 106 army by the coast. Then I kill a 95 army next to the city (to slow). So far I’ve not lost a lot and I’ve captured a good amount of the enemy leaders. So I decided eh why not and set in for siege only to get rushed by 306 garrison troops. Needles to say I won 97 vs. 306 and I won. I lost 43 units and almost died but I did it.

Is this a good start?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
