And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
I've finally gotten to the point where, with some opportunism, I can take a castle. But it seems like a largely pointless effort. While I can't muster my own nation to sit still long enough to siege any territory to save my life, the second I take an enemy fortress in my liege's name, 1400 troops descend upon my castle to take it (and no one has any interest in helping hold it).
It's happened like 3 different times in different fortresses and it's infuriating. In this case it's a castle the enemy recently took. Every war my faction seems to lost a castle due purely to the fact that the enemy piles around its marshall in a doomstack while my allies scatter around and get captures. It's put me at pretty much dead neutral progress for like 6 gameplay hours. At this rate my faction will just fade away and I'll have to start all over building relations somewhere else.
